M.Sc. student

I'm interested in investigating the role of the p38 MAPK in asthma and glucocorticoid resistance. I graduated from Concordia University with my BSc, biology major, in the spring of 2008. Although I had looked into many programs, the field of research in human medicine appealed to me as a focus for my graduate studies.

Joining Simon’s lab has provided me with an academic challenge as well as a personal pursuit to improve the lives of people with asthma. Having suffered from the disease, it has been a perfect way to combine my previous experience with a professional direction. And I couldn't have found a nicer group of people to do it with.
